It will NOT adhere to rubber, silicon, TPU or soft touch coatings. Please ensure the application surface is thoroughly cleaned and dry before applying the adaptor. The 3M VHB adhesive is a single use adhesive. It is NOT re-usable. The Quad Lock Universal Adaptor uses a 3M VHB 4952 Adhesive which will adhere to smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces such as: - Plastics such as PC, ABS, PVC, Nylon, Acrylic - Non-painted metals / Un-coated glass The adhesive will not bond to the following substrates: - Rubber, TPU, TPE / Leather / Silicone - Hydrophobic coated glass (Also known as anti-fingerprint glass, which is found on the back of most modern smartphones) - Soft touch coating or paint / Low surface energy plastics such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE), Acetal, HDPE / Wood We highly recommend using a case with the Universal Adaptor if your phone has a glass back.
